Livemaths.co.uk Frequently Asked Questions
Can you recommend suitable textbooks for KS3 and GCSE?
Below is a sample of books from the many available. Unlike the A Level course, KS3 and GCSE are dependant on the level to which the student has reached. Although there are board specific books, KS3 and KS4 follow the National Curriculum so the material covered is identical for all boards. There is not a "textbook per year" approach and we cannot advise on individual cases.
Can you supply past papers?
Past Papers are copyright material and may be obtained from the appropriate board. For some of the boards, the past papers are available as a free download.
A video does not play, or only partially plays. i.e. it stops playing before the end and repeated reloads stop at the same place.
This may be because the video was not downloaded completely. We have little control over this as this is likely to be due to an intermittent network connection between your browser and our site via your broadband provider. Unfortunately, when this happens, the incomplete video is cached by your browser on your hard disk and repeated attempts to play reuse the version in your cache. The solutions are to try playing the video using a different internet browser or to clear your browser cache. In IE7, go to Tools->Internet Options->General, then click on Delete
under "Browsing History". Then click on the Delete Files button.
In Firefox, click on Tools->Options, select Privacy, then click the
Clear Now button. Make sure the only item checked on the list is Cache
and that ALL other boxes are unchecked, then click on "Clear Private
