7 to 16 Maths

Description: 7 to 16 Mathematics in the UK is dictated by the National Curriculum, so everybody should cover the same mathematical topics (Foundation GCSE students may not do all of the topics that Higher GCSE students do, and IGCSE does contain some extra topics).

At KS3, the normal levels range from 4 to 8, and the books chosen offer exercises appropriate to these levels. Not all students will get to level 8 and are not expected to do so before proceeding to GCSE.

At GCSE, there are two tiers, Higher and Foundation. The Higher tier will enable a student to achieve a A* to C, while the Foundation tier limits the grade between C and G.
